OILCO’s v-ring swivel joint family started with the 90 Series. Today, we offer six types of v-ring swivel joints in multiple performance arrangements.
OILCO 90 Series:
Engineered in the late 1980s, the 90 Series flared seal v-ring concept outpaces the simple compression of an o-ring seal. Superior to standard o-ring designs, the 90 Series v-ring applies continual, positive pressure, forcing seal contact at all times. Designed with a three v-ring seal configuration, the 90 Series is spring loaded and self-adjusting for normal wear.
90 Series availability
- Materials: Carbon steel, stainless steel T-316, aluminum
- Various seal configurations
- Sizes: 2” to 24”
- Ends: Flanged, butt-weld. NPT threaded connections available up to 6”.

OILCO 190 Series: split flange
OILCO’s 190 Series split flange unit takes everything that’s great about the 90 Series and packages it in a removable seal version. Widely spaced ball races allow for better alignment and longer packing life. Pressure seal packing is positioned so that replacement time is considerably reduced. The removable seal makes in-field service a breeze. Since you don’t have to remove the ball bearings, the risk of operator and maintenance error is reduced – and proper alignment is maintained. Also, by utilizing the identical packing components found in the 90 Series, repair parts and costs are held to an operational minimum.
190 Series availability
- Materials: Carbon steel, stainless steel T-316, aluminum

- Sizes: 1.5” to 24”
- Ends: Flanged, butt-weld. NPT threaded connections available up to 6”.
V-ring packing seal material
Options for packing seal material across all OILCO v-ring swivel joints includes Buna-N (our standard), Viton, Nitrile, Teflon®, Kalrez®, Chemrez®, EPDM and EPR.
