Based on the original rotary union platform developed in the early half of the 20th century, OILCO’s o-ring swivel joint family started with the 80 Series. Today, we offer 12 different variants in multiple seal and mechanical designs.
OILCO 80 Series: the swivel joint workhorse
Meet the 80 Series – the workhorse swivel joint that’s reliable, steadfast, and universal. A ball bearing, single point seal design, the 80 Series comes with a felt dust seal backup allowing for endless applications.
With a leak-proof, low maintenance design, the 80 Series’ widely spaced ball races allow for better alignment and longer packing life. Our smooth bore design minimizes flow restriction and internal turbulence. The single seal point operates under both a vacuum and a pressure environment. And the felt dust seal prevents all foreign matter from entering the swivel chamber.

OILCO 180 Series: removable seal makes servicing a breeze
OILCO’s 180 Series split flange units take everything that’s great about the 80 Series and packages it in a removable seal version. Also a ball bearing, single point seal design, the 180 Series also comes with a felt dust seal backup allowing for endless applications. The removable seal makes in-field service a breeze. Since you don’t have to remove the ball bearings, the risk of operator and maintenance error is reduced – and proper alignment is maintained.

Options for packing seal material across all OILCO o-ring swivel joints includes Buna-N (our standard), Viton™ , Nitrile, Teflon®, Kalrez®, Chemrez®, EPDM and EPR.
